Friss Co. is a memory project that was founded in an architectural studio, inspired by nostalgia and the intimate connection between scent and memory.

The idea first came to life during a simple afternoon tea with friends, where a conversation about the past led to the realization that certain scents hold the power to transport us back to cherished moments. From that day forward, every detail—colors, fragrances, themes, and names—was carefully curated to recreate the warmth of the past and help others build new memories.

Friss has shaped the way we see life, teaching us to appreciate the smallest moments. Our candles are designed to bring a touch of the cherishable past into your home, reminding you of the love, laughter, and warmth you’ve experienced while also becoming a part of the new memories you create. Each of the seven scents we’ve introduced is deeply personal, meant to evoke nostalgia, childhood memories, and the precious love of family.

Androon Shehar transports you to the spice bazaars and vibrant alleyways of the walled city, filling the air with rich, aromatic warmth. Nani Ka Bagh captures the essence of a grandparent’s garden, where floral scents mingled with cacti and succulents, symbolizing resilience and love.

Nostalgia has a remarkable way of forging emotional bonds, and with every fragrance, we hope to spark a memory that feels like home.

The cacti candle holds a special place in our story—it was inspired by Armaghan’s association with his grandparents and his father’s childhood home, built in the ’90s. The house carried an earthy scent, intertwined with hints of jasmine and roses. Visually, the floral arrangement featured a backdrop of cacti, a symbol that now, to him, represents the warmth he seeks in his mother’s presence after a long, tiring day.

These candles are more than just scents—they are a tribute to the dear ones we’ve lost too soon, a way to hold onto their presence in our lives.

“May the light of the candle illuminate your life and guide you home to the warmth and love you deserve.” – Armaghan
